Zusammenfassung: | A method and system for mitigating peak demands of a utility powered network, whereby a controller (103) actively adapts the output of an energy storage device (104) to mitigate the peak power consumption of the load (107) over a predetermined time period. The controller (103) further reserves a portion of energy of the energy storage device (104) to anticipate unexpected peak power consumption of the load (107) outside the predetermined time period, and offsets the estimated peak power consumption of the load by a predetermined percentage. The controller (103) further measures the difference between the estimated peak power consumption of the load (107) against the real-time peak power consumption of the load, and calibrate the energy storage device's output to match the real-time peak power consumption of the load (107). |
