Zusammenfassung:	The present invention discloses an apparatus and method for elevating patient�s shoulder from operation table. The present invention is to provide a cheap, adjustable and easy to use patient positioning system which simplifies patient positioning procedures and improves patient safety. Hence, such invention comprises an irrigation fluid bag (101) with at least one inlet (104) and outlet (105), characterised in that the inlet (104) is connected to a hand-held pump (102) to inflate the bag with air for adjusting the positioning of a patient who lies on the bag. The inlet (104) is connected to the hand-held pump (102) with an elongated flexible tube (103), where the elongated flexible tube (103) has two ends and a hollow extending between the two ends. (Fig. 1)
