PHOSPHATE POLYCARBOXYLATE SUPERPLASTICIZER AND METHOD FOR MAKING SAME

The present invention relates to building materials and discloses a phosphate polycarboxylate superplasticizer and a method for making the same. The method includes esterifying polyacrylic acid with a polyethylene glycol phosphate ester to obtain a first polymer containing an active ingredient with a molecular weight of 5,000-20,000, copolymerizing an unsaturated polyether, an unsaturated phosphate and compound A to obtain a second polymer containing an active ingredient with a molecular weight of 30,000 to 80,000, and mixing the first polymer with the second polymer in proportion to obtain the phosphate polycarboxylate superplasticizer. The first polymer is preferentially adsorbed and intercalated into the layered structure of the clay due to the small molecular weight, which greatly reduces the adsorption of the clay to the second polymer, thereby improving the adaptability of the superplasticizer to various sandstone aggregates.
