METHOD FOR PREPARING POLYCARBOXYLATE SUPERPLASTICIZER WITH HIGH SLUMP RETENTION

Disclosed is a method for preparing a polycarboxylate superplasticizer with high slump retention. Compared to the conventional solution-polymerization method, an initiation system combining a photoinitiator and a redox initiation system is employed to increase the reaction rate, involving high efficiency, high conversion rate, centralized molecular weight distribution and low cost. In addition, this method is easy to be performed and suitable for industrial production, having a wide application prospective. The polycarboxylate superplasticizer prepared according to this method has stable performance and a molecular structure of a comb structure, where the main chain includes a polar group, and the branched chain includes a polyoxyethylene segment to generate the steric hindrance, which can improve the dispersibility and dispersibility retention of the concrete, thereby exhibiting a high slump retention performance.
