Zusammenfassung:An apparatus to perform online and offline diagnostic and monitoring of induction motors, configured to carry out a method including the steps of measuring motor stator three-phase currents, transforming three-phase current data, Ia, lb, le into two dimensional d-q current data, Id and lq, the two dimensional d-q current data, Id and lq being displayed as graphical representations, classifying the graphical representations into fault types and severity, characterized in that, three phase current data is transformed into two dimensional d-q current data using a modified Park's transformation equation, which covers one or more broadband fault frequencies produced by a continuous vibration of one or more distributed defects, such that defects of bearings can be categorized into distributed as well as localized defects of bearings in inner race and/or outer race of induction motors. Figure 6
