Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:	The present invention provides for automated detection of bagworms by means of thermal imaging and incorporated with counting means. In the present invention, infested area is determined and bagworms are sampled for detection and counting of said bagworms. Thermal imaging conditions and operational parameters are set up before samples are detected via thermal imaging analysis. Temperature of sample of bagworms is determined from radiation emitted and a false colour or thermal image is displayed. Bagworms are detected based on their spectral properties and subsequently the characterization and object orientation of bagworms is established. Bagworms detected are then counted and results are displayed.
