Zusammenfassung: | The present invention relates to a method of removing heavy metal from aquatic invertebrates comprising the steps of placing the invertebrates into a container containing circulating water, an oxidizing agent activated by a catalyst and a phytoplankton, wherein the oxidizing agent forms a precipitate with the heavy metal; removing the precipitate from the water by directing the water to a filtration means whereby the water is aerated with nanosized bubbles and the precipitate floating atop the water is separated from the water; and rinsing the invertebrates. It is also relates to an apparatus for removing heavy metal from aquatic invertebrates comprising at least one treatment tank (1) for receiving and containing the invertebrates, circulating water, an oxidizing agent and a phytoplankton; a water inlet (2); a filtration means (3) for receiving water from the treatment tank and aerating the water with nanosized bubbles for removing precipitate of oxidizing agent and heavy metal from the water; and a plurality of pipes (4) having control valves for connecting the water inlet (2) and the filtration means (3) to the treatment tank (1). |
