Zusammenfassung:	An apparatus (100) for changing formers (320) attachable to former holders (310) has been disclosed. The apparatus (100) is connected to a conveyor line (300) and comprises a compressor track assembly (110), a clamping assembly (120) and an actuating means. The compressor track assembly (110) is configured to allow former holders (310) to pass through the compressor track assembly (110) and cause compression of the biasing means (312) to allow release of formers (320) from the former holders (310) and allow decompression of the biasing means (312) to allow attachment of the formers (320) to the former holders (310). The clamping assembly (120) clamps formers (320) released from the former holders (310) and unclamps formers (320) to be attached to the former holders. The clamp conveyor line (130) is configurable to move in the same direction and at the same speed as the conveyor line (300) to transport the clamping assembly (120) and allow the clamping assembly (120) to be aligned with the former holder (310).
