Zusammenfassung:The current invention provides methods and compositions for surface modification of silica particles with coupling agents to improve inorganic?organic interfacial compatibility and miscibility of silica with the organic polymeric matrix, thus enhancing the properties of the composite ionogel with silica as filler. The current invention relates to surface modification of silica in silica filled 1-butyl-3- methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate-poly(vinylidene fluoride- cohexafluoropropene) ionogel using silane coupling agents, leading to less aggregation and agglomeration of the silica particles in the ionogel matrix.
