Zusammenfassung: | A continuous process of decomposing biomass for efficient production of bio-oil by an improved fluidized bed pyrolysis system is disclosed. The disclosed improved fluidized bed pyrolysis system uses effective condensation system comprising three stages of fractional condensation comprising three stages of fractional condensation further comprising a series of six successive condensers operated using three different media at three temperatures. The effects of different parameters like biomass types (palm kernel shell (PKS) and mesocarp fiber), sizes (0.15-0.5, 0.5-1.0, and 1.0-2.0 mm), and pyrolysis temperature (400,450, 500, and 550 ?C) on pyrolytic products distribution including bio-oil for decomposition of palm kernel shell (PKS) and mesocarp fiber is performed in the improved fluidized bed pyrolysis system with nitrogen gas flow rate of 25 L(NTP)/min in the continuous process of decomposing biomass for efficient production of bio-oil. The maximum bio-oil yield (39.6 % ) obtained from PKS of 0.15-0.5 mm at 500 ?C. It is evident that that small particle size produced the most noticeable amount of bio-oil production. The present process is carried out in a continuous fashion to carry out decomposition of biomass for obtaining six fractions of bio-oil and other pyrolytic products using a very effective fractional condensation system, thereby making the entire process time efficient.
