PROTECTOR-ATTACHED MEDICAL NEEDLE

The present invention provides a protector-attached medical needle that enables easy assembly of a needle body and a protector which are separately formed. A protector-attached medical needle ( l) includes a needle body (3) which is composed of a needle tube (2) and a hub (7), a protector ( 4) inside which the needle tube (2) can be accommodated, a first locking unit that releasably locks the needle body (3) to the protector (4), and a second locking unit that unreleasably locks the needle body (3) to the protector (4). The first locking unit is composed of arms (7 5) provided on the side portions of the hub (7), hooks (77), and locking sections (44) provided on the side portions of the protector (4). The second locking unit includes projections (79, 80) provided at the distal end portion of the hub (7), and engaging members (47) provided at the rear end of the protector (4). The protector (4) includes first grooves (45) which are provided in the inner peripheral surface thereof and which enable the projections (79, 80) to pass therethrough, and second grooves (46) provided in a direction that is orthogonal to the grooves (45).
