Zusammenfassung: | According to a first aspect of the present invention, there is provided a toner cartridge (E) detachably mountable to a receiving device (D), the toner cartridge (E) comprising a container (47, S247) including a accommodating portion for accommodating the toner and a discharge opening for discharging the toner from the accommodating portion into the receiving device (D); and an open/close member (53, 253) including a closing portion (53m, 253m) for closing the discharge opening and an engaging portion (53b, 271a, 271b, 371a, 371b) movable relative to the closing portion (53m, 253m), the open/close member (53, 253) being rotatable relative to the container (47, S247) between (a) an opening position for causing the closing portion (53m, 253m) to open the discharge opening and (b) a closing position for causing the closing portion (53m, 253m) to close the discharge opening, wherein the engaging portion (53b, 271a, 271b, 371a, 371b) is movable relative to the closing portion (53m, 253m) between (c) a engaging position for engagement with the receiving device (D) to receive a force for moving the open/close member (53, 253) from the opening position to the closing position when the toner cartridge (E) is dismounted from the receiving device (D) and (d) a retracted position retracted from the engaging position, and wherein the engaging portion (53b, 271a, 271b, 371a, 371b) is movable from the retracted position to the engaging position with rotation of the open/close member (53, 253) from the closing position to the opening position.
