METHODS FOR PREDICTING OIL YIELD OF A TEST OIL PALM PLANT
Methods are provided for predicting oil yield of a test oil palm plant. The methods comprise determining at least one of a level of glucose-6-phosphate, a level ofnitrogen- containing glycopyranose derivative 458.18784/1.34, and a level of sucrose, in a leaf of the test oil palm plant of rank 9 to 1...

Zusammenfassung: | Methods are provided for predicting oil yield of a test oil palm plant. The methods comprise determining at least one of a level of glucose-6-phosphate, a level ofnitrogen- containing glycopyranose derivative 458.18784/1.34, and a level of sucrose, in a leaf of the test oil palm plant of rank 9 to 17, in comparison to a leaf of a reference oil palm plant, and/or determining at least one of a level of chlorinated glycopyranose 377.08728/1.48, a level of flavonoid glycopyranose derivative 644.29065/10.222, and a level of tyrosine, in a leaf of the test oil palm plant of rank -2 to 2, in comparison to a leaf of a reference oil palm plant. The methods also comprise predicting a higher oil yield based on the levels being indicative of a higher ration of oil to dry mesocarp for the test oil palm plant in comparison to the reference oil palm plant. |
