Zusammenfassung:	A process for separation of CO2 from a high pressure gas stream is disclosed in the present invention. The process includes feeding a solvent into a gas-liquid contactor. A gas stream is made in contact with the solvent in the gas-liquid contactor. This contact allows absorption of CO2 into the solvent at high pressure condition within the gas-liquid contactor. The process further involves measuring, analyzing and/or monitoring gas and liquid within the gas-liquid contactor. Finally, temperature of gas mixture and solvent in the gas-liquid contactor is controlled and maintained. (Figure 1)
