A control device for a hybrid vehicle provided with an engine (E), a motor (M) that drives by electric power of a battery (3a), and an air conditioner (3b) that operates by the electric power of the battery, and includes target driving force (Pio) calculation unit (11) configured to calculate a target value of a driving force transmitted to a drive wheel from a drive source as a target driving force, air conditioner managing unit (13) configured to manage ON/OFF state of the air conditioner, and control unit configured to control the motor based on a request output (Pd) by calculating a request output by adding a target driving force to a system output requested to a drive source by a system request, calculating an operation point of the engine for optimally driving the engine to the request output, and controlling the engine to drive at the operation point. The control unit calculates a request output by subtracting the driving force that corresponds to the power consumption consumed by the air conditioner from the target driving force and by adding an engine output (PE) required to generate the power consumption by the motor to the system output when the air conditioner is in the ON state.
