AN APPARATUS FOR PROVIDING A PREMIUM CRUDE PALM OIL PRODUCTION SYSTEM BASED ON NEAR-INFRA RED ON-LINE FREE FATTY ACID DETERMINATION

The present invention provides an automated crude palm oil (CPO) segregation system based on on-line free fatty acid (FFA) determination, the system comprising: a feedback control system with an in-line mixer, a Near Infra-Red (NIR) on-line measurement unit and switching valves; clarifier tanks; a computer interface; wherein, when a sensor in the NIR on-line measurement unit detects different concentrations of FFA in the CPO, the feedback control system generates an electrical signal and the electrical signal is amplified and transferred to the computer interface as an indication in a computer for continuous monitoring, at the same time, the amplified signal triggered the switching valves to separate the FFA in accordance to its concentration to its designated clarifier tanks to obtain premium crude palm oil.
