Zusammenfassung:An anti-rotation system for use in retaining a threaded connection between a pin (12, 12A-12G) and a box (14, 14A-14G). The anti-rotation system includes a key (24, 24B-24G) that sets in a recess (16, 16A-16G) formed in one of the box (14, 14A- 14G) or pin (12, 12A-12G). The key (24, 24B-24G) is selectively in contact with one of the other of the box (14, 14A-14G) or pin (12, 12A-12G), and is activated when the threaded connection begins to decouple. The key (24, 24B-24G) is profiled (44, 44C) and operates in a cam like fashion to wedge itself between the box (14, 14A-14G) and pin (12, 12A-12G) when these members begin to decouple and prevents further relative rotation.
