TRACTOR-IMPLEMENT PERFORMANCE MAPPING SYSTEM

Tractor-implement performance mapping- system includes an on-board PC-DAC (1) interfaced with both factory installed and custom installed transducers for mapping tractor-implement performance during agricultural field operations. ?The developed transducers include drawbar pull transducers (8) at the tractor drawbar point, wheel torque transducers (5) at both tractor rear drive wheels, PTO torque transducers (7) at the tractor PTO output, three-point auto hitch dynamometers (6) at the tractor three-point linkages and theoretical speed sensor (4) at tractor both ends final drive. The PC-DAS is also interfaced differential global position system (9) that provides NMEA output data of GGA Sentence. The PC-DAS (1) includes user friendly software for scanning, displaying, and recording in real-time tractor-implement field performance parameters such as tractor's position, theoretical speed, actual speed, fuel consumption rate, drive wheel slippage, drive wheel torque, PTO shaft torque, drawbar force, and three-point hitch forces.
