Zusammenfassung:A tunable coil antenna (2) is disclosed, in which the tunable coil antenna (2) comprises a first antenna terminal (12), and a series of two or more incomplete turns (4), each incomplete turn (4) comprising a first end (8) and a second end (10), the first end (8a) of the first incomplete turn (4a) being electrically connected to the first antenna terminal (12), the first end (8) of each subsequent incomplete turn (4) arranged to be electrically connected to the second end (10) of a preceding incomplete turn (4) in the series, the second end (10) of each incomplete turn (4) arranged to either be electrically connected to the first end (8) of a subsequent incomplete turn (4) in the series or to provide a second antenna terminal.
