THE FIRST UPLINK SIGNAL (202) IS SUCCESSIVELY TRANSMITTED THROUGH THE INDIVIDUAL REPEATERS (126), AND A SECOND UPLINK SIGNAL (204) IS THEN TRANSMITTED WITH THE DOWNHOLE TRANSCEIVER (206) TO THE PLURALITY OF REPEATERS (126) WHEREIN THE INDIVIDUAL REPEATERS (126) AGAIN SUCCESSIVELY TRANSMIT THE SECOND UPLINK SIGNAL (204). THE FIRST AND SECOND UPLINK SIGNALS (202, 204) ARE SIMULTANEOUSLY TRANSMITTED THROUGH THE PLURALITY OF REPEATERS (126), BUT TRANSMISSION OF THE FIRST UPLINK SIGNAL (202) PRECEDES TRANSMISSION OF THE SECOND UPLINK SIGNAL (204).
