PATROL SUPPORT SYSTEM WITH AREA IDENTIFICATION LABELS, PORTABLE TERMINAL FOR RECOGNIZING THE AREA IDENTIFICATION LABELS AND PATROL SUPPORT METHOD

There is provided a patrol support system, a portable terminal (2) and a patrol support method that are capable of improving the quality of work. The patrol support system includes area identification labels (50) each being disposed in each of a plurality of unit inspection areas, and a portable terminal (2) which is capable of recognizing the area identification labels (50). The portable terminal (2) includes a storage module (14) for storing information of a unit inspection area corresponding to each of the area identification labels (50) in association with the area identification label (50), a display module (16) for displaying information of inspection items at least in a unit inspection area in which inspection is currently being performed, an inspection completion information input module (18) for inputting inspection completion information for each of the inspection items, and an inspection determining module for determining whether or not inspection in the unit inspection area has been completed. The inspection determining module determines that work has been completed if the inspection completion information is input for all of the inspection items in the unit inspection area, and determines that the inspection has not been completed if the inspection completion information is not input for one or more of the inspection items when the inspection determining module receives a predetermined input indicating that inspection has been completed.
