THE CENTRALIZER AND FLOW CONSTRICTOR ASSEMBLY (128,228) ARE CONFIGURED TO CENTRALIZE A DRILL STRING (112) WITHIN A DRILL RISER (106) AND REGULATE A RETURN MUD FLOW (118). THE SENSOR (154) IS LOCATED CLOSE TO THE CENTRALIZER AND FLOW CONSTRICTOR ASSEMBLY (128,228) AND CONFIGURED TO ACQUIRE VALUES OF AT LEAST ONE PARAMETER RELATED TO THE RETURN MUD FLOW (118). THE CONTROLLER IS COUPLED TO THE CENTRALIZER AND FLOW CONSTRICTOR ASSEMBLY (128,228) AND THE SENSOR (154).
