MORE PARTICULARLY, THE PRESENT INVENTION RELATES TO THE USE OF A SENSE PRIMER AND AN ANTI-SENSE PRIMER AND CAPTURING THE RESULTING BANDS WITH A POLAROID CAMERA. THE INVENTION ESTABLISHES A DETECTION METHOD FOR CHIKUNGUNYA VIRUS IN MOSQUITOES, AND WHICH CAN BE APPLIED ON MONITORING THE SPREAD OF THE VIRUS BY THE VECTOR MOSQUITOES, AND CAN FURTHER STRENGTHEN THE MONITORING WORK FOR PREVENTING THE SPREAD OF THE DISEASE TO HUMANS BY PROVIDING EARLY WARNING OF THE PRESENCE OF INFECTED MOSQUITOES PRIOR TO TRANSMISSION TO THE HUMAN POPULATION. |
