Zusammenfassung: | THE INVENTION IS A MECHANICALLY CONTROLLED DUAL ACTING CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (CVT) PULLEY SYSTEM THAT INCORPORATED CAM MECHANISM TO REPLACE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM IN CONTROLLING THE CVT RATIO. A MECHANICALLY CONTROLLED DUAL ACTING PULLEY CVT GEARBOX COMPRISING A PAIR OF DRIVING PULLEYS AND A PAIR OF DRIVEN PULLEYS WHERE BOTH ARE AXIALLY MOVABLE AND CAN BE MOVED SIMULTANEOUSLY; A PAIR OF METAL PUSHING V-BELT (MPVB) WHICH PUSH PULLEYS TOWARDS THE OTHER WHEREBY CHANGING THE POSITION OF THE V-BELTS AND THEN THE CVT GEAR RATIO; TWO V-BELTS AS LINES ALONG SAID MPVB SLIDING RADIAL UP AND DOWN AROUND SAID DRIVING PULLEYS AND SAID DRIVEN PULLEYS; A PAIR OF DRIVER CAM MECHANISM THAT SITS ADJACENT TO BOTH SAID DRIVING PULLEYS; A PAIR OF DRIVEN CAM MECHANISM THAT SITS ADJACENT TO SAID DRIVEN PULLEYS; SPROCKETS SYSTEM THAT MUST BE ROTATED SIMULTANEOUSLY WITH THE OTHERS TO ACHIEVE A VARIABLE SPEED RATIO AND ARE FIXED TO THE OUTER END OF SAID DRIVER CAM MECHANISMS AND SAID DRIVEN CAM MECHANISMS INDIVIDUALLY; A PAIR OF CAHINS PASSING AROUND SAID SPROCKETS SYSTEM; AND A PULLEY LINKAGE MECHANISM. THIS NEW CONCEPT PROVIDES AN ALTERNATIVE TO THE AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY WHERE THIS NEW MECHANICALLY CONTROLLED CVT IS MORE ROBUST THAN THE CONVENTIONAL HYDRAULICALLY CONTROLLED CVT AND IT ALSO PROVIDES FULL CONTROL OF THE DRIVER ON THE VEHICLE PERFORMANCE. |
