Zusammenfassung: | A REVERSE AND FORWARD MECHANISM FOR CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (CVT) IS PROVIDED TO SIMPLIFIED AND ENHANCE THE PERFORMANCE OF THE REVERSE AND FORWARD MECHANISM BY IMPLEMENTING TWO SLIDING SYNCHRONIZER SLEEVES WHICH DISENGAGE AND ENGAGE THE INPUT SHAFT AND OUTPUT SHAFT TO INITIAL REVERSE AND FORWARD MOVEMENT. THE PRESENT INVENTION COMPRISES A CONTROL PLATE, A SELECTOR ROD WITH ONE END CONNECTED AND ROTATED TOGETHER WITH THE CONTROL PLATE, A CONTROL LEVER FIXED TO THE SELECTOR ROD, A PAIR OF SELECTOR COUPLER CONNECTED TO THE CONTROL LEVEL AND PUSHED INWARD AND OUTWARD BY THE CONTROL LEVER. THE MECHANISM FURTHER INCLUDES AN INPUT SHAFT HAVING A FIRST HELICAL GEAR ROTATED ON THE INPUT SHAFT AND AN OUTPUT SHAFT HAVING A SECOND HELICAL GEAR ROTATED THEREON. A SYNCHRONIZE SYSTEM COMPRISING FIRST SYNCHRONIZER SLEEVE AND SECOND SYNCHRONIZER SLEEVE WHICH ARE SPLINED ON THE INPUT SHAFT AND OUTPUT SHAFT RESPECTIVELY, A LAY SHAFT CONNECTED WITH THIRD HELICAL GEAR AND FOURTH HELICAL GEAR AS SINGLE PIECES AND ROTATED IN SAME DIRECTION ARE INCORPORATED INTO THE MECHANISM. AN IDLER GEAR IS MESHED BETWEEN THE SECOND HELICAL GEAR AND FOURTH HELICAL GEAR. |
