Zusammenfassung:	Described is a chemical feeder (F) having a housing (10) with a base member (12) and upwardly extending side walls (14) that define a cavity (8) for containing solid chemical material, e.g., calcium hypochlorite. A hollow chamber (20) is located within the cavity and seated on the base member (12). An annular collection zone (48) is created by the side walls (18) of the chamber (20) spaced apart from the side walls (14) of the housing (10). There is an inlet (40) for supplying dissolving liquid into the hollow chamber (20) and up through a grid (22) and an outlet (34) for removing a liquid solution of the dissolved chemical material from the collection zone (4). Se describe un alimentador quimico que tiene un alojamiento con un miembro base y paredes laterales que se extienden hacia arriba y que definen una cavidad para contener material quimico solido, por ejemplo, hipoclorito de calcio. Una camara ahuecada se localiza dentro de la cavidad y esta colocada en el miembro base. Una zona anular colectora se crea por las paredes laterales de la camara, espaciadas aparte de las paredes laterales del alojamiento. Hay una entrada para suministrar liquido disuelto en la camara ahuecada y hacia una rejilla y una salida para sacar la solucion liquida del material quimico disuelto de la zona de recoleccion.
