Zusammenfassung:The present invention relates to a novel and efficient chemoenzymatic process of preparation of optically active trans alkyl phenylglycidates. The invention particularly discloses a novel process for the chemoenzymatic synthesis of two enantiomers of trans alkyl phenylglycidate i.e. alkyl(2S,3R)-phenylglycidate and alkyl(2R,3S)-phenylglycidate of formulae 7 and 8 respectively. La presente invencion se refiere a un procedimiento quimioenzimatico novedoso y eficaz de preparacion de trans fenilglicidatos de alquilo opticamente activos; la invencion describe particularmente un procedimiento novedoso para la sintesis quimioenzimatica de dos enantiomeros de trans fenilglicidato de alquilo, es decir, (2S, 3R)-fenilglicidato de alquilo y (2R, 3S)-fenilglicidato de alquilo de las formula 7 y 8 respectivamente (ver formulas 7 y 8).
