Zusammenfassung:	There is provided an aqueous composition comprising (a) at least one anionically stabilized latex polymer, (b) at least one poly functional amine, and (c) at least one volatile base; wherein said polymer (a) has Tg of 21 degree C or higher. Also provided are methods for coating leather and for coating elastomer comprising the step of applying to said leather or said elastomer at least one layer of an aqueous coating composition comprising (a) at least one anionically stabilized latex polymer, (b) at least one polyfunctional amine, and (c) at least one volatile base.. Se suministra una composicion acuosa que comprende: (a) al menos un polimero de latex, estabilizado anionicamente; (b) al menos una amina polifuncional; y (c) al menos una base volatil, en que dicho polimero (a) tiene una temperatura de transicion a vidrio (Tg) de 21 degree C o mayor. Tambien se proporcionan metodos para recubrir el cuero y para recubrir un elastomero, que comprende la etapa de aplicar a dicho cuero, o dicho elastomero, al menos una capa de una composicion acuosa de recubrimiento, que comprende: (a) al menos un polimero de latex, estabilizado anionicamente; (b) al menos una amina polifuncional, y (c) al menos una base volatil.
