ANTI-PROTOZOAL COMPOSITIONS COMPRISING DICLAZURIL

The present invention relates to compositions suitable for oral, transdermal or parenteral (e.g. intranasal, intramuscular, subcutaneous or intravenous) administration, wherein the composition is comprised of at least one anti-protozoal agent dissolved in a mixture of an alcohol based solvent-system, an emulsifier-system and a base-system. Also provided is a method for prepraring said anti-protozoal compositions and their use in the treatment or prevention of protozoal infections in warm-blooded animals, including humans. La presente invencion se refiere a composiciones adecuadas para la administracion oral, transdermica o parenteral (por ejemplo, intranasal, intramuscular, subcutanea o intravenosa), en donde la composicion comprende de por lo menos un agente anti-protozoos disuelto en una mezcla de un sistema de solventes basado en alcohol, un sistema emulsionante y un sistema de bases; tambien se provee un metodo para la preparacion de las composiciones anti-protozoos y su uso en el tratamiento o prevencion de infecciones por protozoos en animales de sangre caliente, incluyendo el ser humano.
