Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to nanotubes and in particular to a process and apparatus for the preparation of nanotubes. In particular, the present invention relates to nanotubes which are made from materials other than carbon or nanotubes containing carbon but which would not ordinarily be classed as carbon nanotubes on account of their low carbon content. The nanostructures of the present invention have a number of applications such as. La presente invencion se refiere a nanotubos y en particular a un procedimiento y aparato para la preparacion de nanotubos; en particular, la presente invencion se refiere a nanotubos que se elaboran de materiales diferentes al carbono o nanotubos que contienen carbono pero que no se pueden clasificar ordinariamente como nanotubos de carbono tomando en cuenta su bajo contenido de carbono; las nanoestructuras de la presente invencion tienen un numero de aplicaciones tales como: conductores ionicos/componentes de bateria, almacenamiento de hidrogeno, nanoalambres de plantillaje, dispositivos electricos, catalizadores y sintesis, tecnologia de pantalla plana, y aplicaciones mecanicas.
