Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:It is intended to provide solid feeds in an arbitrary size, in particular, fish feeds for large-size fishes such as tuna and a process for conveniently producing the same. Namely, a bound feed preferably having a diameter or a major axis of 5 cm or longer which is prepared by secondarily binding one or more solid feeds (preferably at least one of them being a molded article, still preferably a molded article produced with an extruder) together with a component in the form of tablets, granules or powder, optionally together with such a component unstable to heat, to give an arbitrary size. The binding is carried out by adhesion-molding with the use of a hot-melt type adhesive component selected from the group consisting of moisture-containing starch, low-viscosity starch containing a starch plasticizer, moisture-containing saccharides having a degree of polymerization of 10 or less and fats being in a solid state at ordinary temperature. The secondary binding is carried out by enclosing the solid feed in edible a casing such as a capsule or one having a hole in such a size as preventing the leakage of the contents. A process for producing a bound feed characterized by comprising the step of secondarily binding one or more solid feeds.
