Se describe un metodo microsismico para monitorear una operacion de fracturacion u otros eventos sismicos pasivos en pozos de hidrocarburos, usando los pasos de obtener registros de senal de componentes multiples de localidades en las inmediaciones de una fractura; y efectuar una inversion de forma de onda para determinar parametros que representan una caracteristica de fuente del evento.
