Zusammenfassung:	The apparatus for creating and editing a nuclear reactor core template includes a graphical user interface (12) and a processor (14) controlling the graphical user interface to display a graphical representation of a nuclear reactor core. Via the graphical user (12) interface, the processor (14) provides a user with graphical tools for at least one of assigning fuel bundle categories to fuel bundle positions in the graphical representation and editing assigned fuel bundle categories to the fuel bundle positions in the graphical representation. El aparato para crear y editar una plantilla de un nucleo de un reactor nuclear el cual incluye una interfaz (12) grafica del usuario y un procesador (14) para controlar la interfaz grafica del usuario para desplegar una representacion grafica del nucleo del reactor nuclear. Mediante la interfaz (12) grafica del usuario, el procesador (14) proporcionan al usuario con herramientas graficas para por lo menos uno de asignar las categorias de conjunto de combustible para las posiciones del conjunto de combustible en la representacion grafica y editar las categorias asignadas del conjunto de combustible para las posiciones del conjunto de combustible en la representacion grafica.
