La presente invencion se refiere a una composicion farmaceutica de uso topico para la eliminacion selectiva de murcielagos hematofagos destinada a ser aplicada directamente en le cuerpo de un mamifero, y a un metodo para la aplicacion de la composicion farmaceutica en un animal mamifero, en sus habitats o en regiones o ambientes de cria de animales mamiferos o aun cuando se encuentren confinados; la composicion incluye como principio activo anticoagulantes cumarinicos.
