Zusammenfassung:This invention provides new benzothiophene derivatives of general formula (I) and a process for preparing them, the corresponding compositions and their use for manufacturing a medicine for the treatment of neurological disorders. These new compounds behave as serotonin reuptake inhibitors and show high affinity towards the 5-HT1A receptor. La presente invencion proporciona nuevos derivados de benzotiofeno de formula general (I) asi como un procedimiento para su obtencion, las correspondientes composiciones y su utilizacion para la fabricacion de un medicamento destinado al tratamiento de trastornos neurologicos; estos nuevos compuestos se comportan como inhibidores de la receptacion de serotonina y muestran elevada afinidad hacia el receptor de 5-HT1A.
