La presente invencion describe metodos mejorados de desagregacion de agregados de proteina, y replegamiento de proteinas desnaturalizadas, utilizando alta presion; en particular, la presente invencion provee el uso de agitacion, alta temperatura, despresurizacion "en etapas", dialisis y dilucion bajo presion para incrementar la velocidad y el grado de disolucion del agregado y replegamiento de la proteina.
