The medical fabric has an absorbency, as measured through the slip resistant surface, of at least half of the absorbency of the absorbent material. The slip resistant surface has a coefficient of friction of at least about 0.3. Una tela medica que tiene una tela absorbente que tiene un material resistente al deslizamiento aplicado a una superficie de la tela absorbente formando una superficie resistente al deslizamiento. La tela medica tiene una absorbencia, como se midio a traves de la superficie resistente al deslizamiento, de por lo menos la mitad de la absorbencia del material absorbente.
