FINELY PARTICULATED ALUMINIUM AND ZIRCONIUM CONTAINING ANTIPERSPIRANT SUSPENSIONS WITH IMPROVED ACTIVITY AND PROCESS FOR THEIR PREPARATION

Finely divided antiperspirant suspension comprises a basic aluminum/zirconium halohydrate complex where at least 60 % of the Zr is directly titratable at pH 0.8 in 0.1 N HCl with EDTA. Finely divided antiperspirant suspension comprises a basic aluminum/zirconium halohydrate complex, and optionally amino acid, where at least 60 % of the Zr is directly titratable at pH 0.8 in 0.1 N HCl with EDTA. Independent claims are also included for the preparation of the above suspension by mixing the salt in a non-aqueous oil phase, optionally in the presence of amino acid, and grinding and for a cosmetic antiperspirant preparation containing the above suspension as active component.
