Zusammenfassung:	The present invention provides a composition useful for the long-term preservation of wood and composite wood materials against wood damaging and wood destroying materials. The composition contains chemically active component derived from 3-aryl-5,6-dihydro-1,4,2-oxathiazines and their oxides and a suitable vehicle therefor. A method of preserving wood is disclosed in which a fungicidally or bactericidally effective amount of the chemical compound of the present invention is incorporated with a suitable vehicle and applied to the wood substrate to be protected. La presente invencion proporciona ciertas 3-aril-5,6-dihidro-1,4,2-oxatiazinas y sus oxidos, utiles para la conservacion a largo plazo de madera y materiales de madera compuestos contra el daño de la madera y los materiales destructores de la madera. La presente invencion también proporciona composiciones que contienen estas 3-aril-5,6-dihidro-1,4,2-oxatiazinas y sus oxidos, y un vehículo adecuado para los mismos.
