THERAPEUTIC COMBINATION FOR THE TREATMENT OF CANCER

This invention relates to therapeutic combinations comprising a platinum-based antineoplastic agent, such as cisplatin, and an extract from a species of the genus Nerium, such as Nerium oleander, as well as methods of using such combinations to treat subjects, including humans, suffering from certain cancers, such as prostate cancer, melanoma, pancreatic cancer, lung cancer, breast cancer, or colorectal cancer. Esta invención se relaciona a combinaciones terapéuticas que comprenden un agente antineoplástico a base de platino, como cisplatino y un extracto de especies del género Nerium oleander, así como también métodos de uso de las combinaciones para tratar sujetos, incluyendo humanos, que sufren de ciertos cánceres, como cáncer de próstata, melanoma, cáncer pancreático, cáncer pulmonar, cáncer de mama o cáncer colorrectal.
