La presente invención se refiere a un nuevo proceso para la obtención de enantiomeros de pirlindol ópticamente activos, en la forma de una base libre o en la forma de sales farmacéuticamente aceptables. Los productos obtenidos de acuerdo con la presente invención son enantioméricamente puros y son útiles en medicina.
