La presente invención se refiere a un procedimiento para obtener una composición que contiene un hidrolizado derivado del colágeno con alto contenido de glicina y compuestos que contienen yodo, una composición obtenida por tales procedimientos y el uso de la composición como un bioestimulante y/o biofortificador vegetal y a un procedimiento para obtener una composición así.
