The compounds are inhibitors of Bcl-2-associated death promoter (BAD) phosphorylation and have anti-apoptotic activity and are useful in the treatment of cancer, particularly breast cancer, endometrial cancer, ovarian cancer, liver cancer, colon cancer, prostate cancer or pancreatic cancer. La invención se refiere a los compuestos de la fórmula general (I): (ver Fórmula) (I) en donde R1, n, R2a, R2b y R3 son como se definen en la presente. Los compuestos tienen actividad antiapoptótica y son útiles en el tratamiento de cáncer, particularmente cáncer de mama, cáncer endometrial, cáncer ovárico, cáncer hepático, cáncer de colon, cáncer de próstata o cáncer pancreático.
