APPARATUS AND METHOD

A method of attaching a release liner to a sanitary pad is disclosed. The method comprises: applying a pattern of adhesive, preferably water based pressure sensitive adhesive, to a sheet of release liner material; drying a sheet of release liner material comprising an adhesive pattern; overlaying a sanitary pad on the dried release liner material and adhesive pattern; and compressing the overlaid sanitary pad and dried release liner together so as to adhere the dried adhesive to the sanitary pad. Se describe un método para unir un revestimiento antiadherente a una toalla sanitaria. El método comprende: aplicar un patrón de adhesivo, preferiblemente adhesivo sensible a la presión a base de agua a una lámina de material de revestimiento liberable; secar una hoja de material de revestimiento liberable que comprende un patrón adhesivo; superponer una toalla sanitaria sobre el material de revestimiento liberable seco y el patrón adhesivo; y comprimir juntos la toalla sanitaria superpuesta y el revestimiento liberable seco para adherir el adhesivo seco a la toalla sanitaria.
