The invention further relates to methods of preparing such overdyed carpets. La invención se refiere a alfombras que comprenden un hilo de efecto de poliéster teñible catiónicamente, teñido con un tinte básico, y un hilo de fondo de poliéster o poliamida, no teñido con un tinte básico, y en donde la alfombra ha sido sobreteñida con un tinte disperso o un tinte ácido. La invención se refiere además a métodos para preparar este tipo de alfombras sobreteñidas.
