Zusammenfassung: | The present invention is multifunctional equipment for studying the drying kinetics of materials to characterize drying curves of material samples at the laboratory level by applying an air current under conditions that simulate industrial-level operating environments to control variables such as humidity, temperature, and airspeed. Also, it characterized the drying curves of material using various alternatives of convective dehydration from the same dehydrating equipment. The type of convective drying applied is decisive to characterize each drying curve, so there is the alternative of performing a dehydration by a homogeneous convective drying, a gradient convective drying, and a parallel or tangential convective drying. The equipment for the dehydration of known materials dehydrates by glue, a type of convective drying that limits the flexibility of its operation in integrating drying curves. Furthermore, it discloses various types of interchangeable sample containers exposed to th e air stream, relating a sample container to convective drying. Herein exists a sample container for homogeneous drying, another for parallel drying, and one more for gradient drying to characterize drying curves for various types of convective drying in the same dehydrating equipment.
