Said strain can be applied alone or as part of a biopesticide. In addition, the biological agent can preserve its viability over time. La presente invención se refiere a un nuevo agente biológico Metarhizium robertsii cepa 05 con número de depósito CM-CNRG TB225 que presenta actividad antagonista e inhibitoria contra plagas de insectos y de ácaros que afectan el crecimiento de plantas provocando enfermedades. Dicha cepa es aplicable sola o como parte de un biopesticida. Además, el agente biológico tiene la capacidad de preservar su viabilidad en el tiempo.
