Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a steel substrate coated on at least one of its faces with a metallic coating based on zinc or its alloys wherein the metallic coating is itself coated with a conversion layer comprising: - zincsulphate hydrate, - aluminium in an amount up to 14 mg.m-2, wherein the conversion layer comprises neither zinc hydroxysulphate, nor free water molecules nor any compounds having free hydroxyl groups, the surface density of sulphur in the conversion layer being greater than or equal to 5.0 mg/m2. The invention also relates to the corresponding treatment method. La invención se refiere a un sustrato de acero recubierto en al menos una de sus caras con un recubrimiento metálico base zinc o sus aleaciones, en donde el recubrimiento metálico está recubierto con una capa de conversión que comprende: - hidrato de sulfato de zinc - aluminio en una cantidad hasta 14 mg.m-2, en donde la capa de conversión no comprende hidroxisulfato de zinc ni moléculas de agua libres ni compuestos que tengan grupos hidroxilo libres, la densidad superficial del azufre en la capa de conversión es mayor o igual a 5.0 mg/m2. La invención también se refiere al método de tratamiento correspondiente.
