Said device comprises a) a dynamometer for measuring the prehensile force, b) an ultrasonic sensor for calculating the speed of a patient's gait, and c) a bio-impedance meter for quantifying the muscle mass of a patient. La presente invención describe un dispositivo portátil para diagnóstico de sarcopenia que comprende: a) un dinamómetro, que permite medir la fuerza prensil; b) un sensor ultrasónico que permite medir la velocidad de la marcha de un paciente; c) un medidor de biompedancia, que permiten medir la masa muscular de un paciente.
