La presente invención también proporciona una composición farmacéutica que comprende: un copolímero biodegradable multirramificado que comprende al menos tres brazos de poliéster conectados a un núcleo central que comprende un poliéter, y en donde el copolímero multirramificado es sustancialmente insoluble en solución acuosa, y además comprende al menos un ingrediente farmacéuticamente activo.
